Maker's mark of Jonah Kirk, London, 1689
Tapering cylindrical and on moulded rim foot, the scroll handle with shield-shaped terminal, the hinged domed cover with corkscrew thumbpiece, the lower part of the body chased with alternating laurel and acanthus foliage, the cover with acanthus foliage and border, reeded bands and shaped front, the interior applied with five pegs, the body engraved with a coat-of-arms within plume mantling, marked on body, cover and handle
