One side with a pair maenads walking to the right, both wearing chitons and himations, their hair bound a fillets, the maenad to the right with a krotalon (clapper) in her left hand, her head turned back towards her companion, the other side with two similarly clad maenads facing each other, the maenad to the left with her left hand raised in animated conversation, with nonsense inscriptions in the field; the base and neck black, a band below the scene, a band above framed by thin lines, and a band of ivy above; with two residual lug handles on the shoulders, the upper surface of the mouth reserved
