(Occasional light spotting, plate XLIX loosely inserted and with lightly soiled margins). Original boards, uncut (neatly rebacked, original paper title-label laid down), 20th-century red cloth folding cover, all within red morocco slip-case gilt, modelled as a book.
First edition in book form, issue without Papworth's name on the title. The issue with the author's name is "somewhat scarcer than those without": Abbey Scenery 217; Tooley 361.
