AN AMERICAN SILVER-GILT LEAF-SHAPED ICE CREAM SLICE AND A SET OF NINE MATCHING SPOONS AND A PAIR OF SILVER-GILT LEAF-SHAPED SERVERS
The dessert pieces maker's mark of George W. Shiebler & Co., circa 1885, and the servers maker's mark of Redlich
The handle of the slice with a folded leaf terminal applied with a cast fly, the ice cream spoons also each with a handle terminal formed as a folded leaf; the serving spoon with bowl formed as a leaf, and the fork with three tines each formed as a leaf.
The slice 10¾in. (27.4cm.) long; gross weight 13.5oz.
