Two Bow figures emblematic of Summer and Autumn
Circa 1755
Summer, as a girl seated on a sheaf of corn, in pink hat, blue bodice and flowered skirt edged in gilding, and Autumn as a young man in black hat, his jacket finely painted with vine, white shirt and apron, and iron-red breeches, seated on an upturned yellow basket of grapes and holding a bunch of grapes and a bowl, both on circular mound bases (she with chipping to corn, he with slight chipping to foliage)
