A Meissen kakiemon powdered-lilac ground baluster cream-pot and cover
Circa 1735, blue crossed swords mark
With moulded gilt-edged scroll handle and gilt foliage-moulded spout, painted in the kakiemon palette with a bird among flowering shrubs issuing from turquoise rockwork and a banded hedge and with flowering plants and grasses within two purple ogival cartouches, the domed cover with three similar ogival cartouches of flowering plants about a yellow cone finial, terminating on three gilt paw feet (small chip to spout and chip to rim to the left of the handle)
