The vessel elaborately carved as a long, hollowed-out pine branch curving up at one end, deeply carved on the sides with immortals celebrating the birthday of the Queen Mother of the West, the attendants rowing with either paddles or pine branches, all beneath a canopy formed by the dense branches growing from the sides and tip of the raft, the bamboo of warm reddish-brown tone
