INDENTColonel Percy Henry Enthoven, born 1859, entered the Royal Artillery as Lieutenant, 1879; was present in Egypt at the battle of Tel-el-Kebir, 1882 and in the Soudan, at Suakin and at the destruction of Hasheen village, 1885; Captain 1887, Major 1897; during the South African War, 1899-1901 he was present in various actions and engagements including those at the Vet and the Zand rivers, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Diamond Hill, Belfast and the action at Colesberg where he brought the guns of 'J' Battery to bear on the enemy with good effect (Mentioned in Despatches); Lieut.
