A PAIR OF HIGHLY IMPORTANT GEORGE II TWO-HANDLED CIRCULAR BREAD BASKETS, in the Charles I style, each on pierced spreading foot with applied rope-twist band above, the bases pierced with radiating geometric motifs, the tapering sides with scalework and applied below the moulded rim with leaf-capped reeded scroll bracket handles, the sides engraved with stylised rosettes and a coat-of-arms within a Rococo cartouche and circular surround, by Paul de Lamerie, 1734
