An impressive antique hardstone presentation demi-parure
The necklace of vari-coloured twin triangular hardstone panels, with quatrefoil collet and triangular spacers each suspending a pear-shaped drop, mounted in chased gold with scroll and foliate detail, the earrings ensuite, circa 1830, necklace 51.8 cm. long, in red leather fitted case with the gilt inscription 'This necklace once belonging to the Royal Family of Naples, was given to her godchild Maria Teresa Carlotta Luisa Cabrera, by H.R.H the Infanta Maria Teresa, daughter of Juan VI. King of Portugal, widow of H.R.H the Infanta Don Pedro of Portugal, Prince of Beira, and wife of Don Carlos, brother of Ferdinand VII, King of Spain.' (3)
