Depicting Zeus in the form of an eagle carrying the young Ganymede, the eagle gripping the boy's back, his wings outstretched, Ganymede nude but for a chlamys draped over his left shoulder and right arm, a foliate wreath in his hair, with long braids falling on to each shoulder, his left arm upraised, wearing a bracelet, preserving traces of white slip throughout, blue on the wreath and red on his hair
