Mark of Cornelis Johannes van Straatsburg, Utrecht, 1788; also struck on handle with later Dutch duty mark of 1795 for Utrecht and two later Dutch duty marks of 1807 and 1853-1927
Vase-shaped, on a rectangular base supporting the oval foot, short plain stem, the plain body with two engraved and pricked upper bands of flower heads, curves and lines, plain neck with helmet spout, scroll handles, beaded rims, marked on base and handle
