A West Persian brass jug, late 13th or early 14th century
the pear shaped ewer on a spreading foot and with a serpent Timurid handle, engraved all over with equestrian and figural roundels between bands of calligraphy and scrolling arabesques -- 7¼in. (18.5cm.) high.
