A two-tiered enamel box with inkstone, 19/20th Century
of octagonal shape on ruyi head shaped feet, decorated in famille rose enamels and gilt, the cover depicting a scene of geese and quails in a riverscape scene within a hatched border, the sides with various flower sprays and foliage, the underside with a blue enamel Qianlong sealmark within a double square, the interior with fitted black inkstone -- 4 3/8in. (11.1cm.) wide.
