woodcut, 1917, on heavy, fibrous wove paper, the second state (of three), signed and dated in pencil, from the edition of 40, with wide margins, minor surface soiling, occasional pale staining and creasing in the margins, several short repaired tears at the margin edges, old glue remains and associated staining at the lower margin corners, occasional pale foxing on the reverse, old hinge remains at the reverse of the left margin corners, otherwise in good condition
