The steep sides moulded and painted with shaped vertical panels enclosing buddhistic symbols, birds, flowering plants or bamboo, divided by tasselled ribbons, the interior with a central medallion enclosing a bird perched on rockwork, below panels containing a single flower spray, thorny branch or berried fruit, divided by narrow panels of beaded jewels, 12.4-14.5 cm. diam.; and a bowl with moulded petal-shaped panels enclosing each a peony stem above a row of eight Immortals on cloud scroll, repeated within a roundel to the interior, Chenghua six character mark, Kangxi, 11.3 cm. diam., cracks and rim frittings (4)
