    DYER, George (1755-1841). History of the University and Colleges of Cambridge. London: Longman, 1814. 2 volumes, 8°. Additional engraved title in vol. one, 32 engraved plates by J. Greig, 4-page publisher's advertisements at end (2 plates misbound, some offsetting from plates, occasional spotting). Contemporary straight-grained blue/green morocco gilt decorated in gilt and blind, gilt edges (extremities rubbed, spines discoloured). Provenance: E. G. Eden (stamp on front free endpaper).
