Crossbanded with tulipwood and inlaid with lines, the shelved superstructure on brass columns, the fall with oval panels enclosing a fitted interior with pigeon-holes and drawers and with later leather-lined writing-surface, above a pair of oval-panelled doors enclosing a later shelf, on turned feet, later handles
