Four 18th-Century English silver pap-boats,
including: one with maker's mark rubbed, London 1792, of usual form with reeded rim --10.3cm. (4¼in.) long, 2 oz.; one with maker's mark SM, London 1761, of usual form -- 11.4cm. (4½in.) long, 1.4 oz.; one with maker's mark rubbed, London 1731, of usual form, engraved on base LT with dotted pattern -- 11.9cm. (4¾in.) long, 2oz; and one with maker's mark rubbed, London 1755, of usual form with repousse and chased decoration depicting birds, a rabbit, foliage and with scroll pattern -- 11.4cm. (4½in) long, 2 oz.; and another pap-boat (perhaps adapted) with the mark of Soloman Hougham, London 1815, of usual form with egg-and-dart type pattern to rim -- 13cm. (5 1/8in.) long, 2.5 oz. (5)
