Marie-Rose's teddy bear
a German teddy bear with white mohair, clear and black glass eyes with brown painted backs, pronouncd muzzle, orange/brown stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed limbs with felt pads and hump, probably Jopi, 1930s --23in. (58.5cm.) high (a few bald patches, ripe on one side of nose, three pads with holes, general wear and discolouration); and a photograph of the owner dressed in a bunny outfit holding this bear (2)
Born in 1928, the photograph of Marie-Rose Guilleaume and her bear was taken in Brussels, circa 1935.
