Oblong 8o. 182pp., written in at least two hands in ink, containing a melodic line with text underlay, four four-line staves to the page, text and extra verses in an italic hand, musical ornaments carefully notated in some songs. Contemporary dark red morocco, covers paneled in gilt, gilt spine with initials "MB" at base of spine, marbled endleaves, (Some rubbing to corners and joints.) Provenance: Contemporary signature of "Mary Belasyse" on front flyleaf, gilt initials "MB" on spine.
