The stepped top with conjoined scroll mount and raised on four plain columns, above plinth with stylised egg-and-dart moulding, on bun feet, the white enamel Roman dial signed Blanc fils/Palais Royal, blued steel Breguet hands, the eight day twin barrel movement with knife-edge suspended gridiron pendulum and countwheel strike on bell -- 16 in. (41 cm.) high
