THREE COLIMA STONE FIGURES
LATE PRECLASSIC, ca. 300 - 100 B.C.
each a highly stylized seated male figure, with rudimentary, openwork arms resting on upraised legs, the rounded face with circular drilled mouth and eyes and faintly projecting nose, two figures pierced on the back for suspension as jewelry.
