A 19th century scrimshaw and polychromed whale's tooth with a whaling scene
[unsigned], engraved and polychromed; on the front with a whaling scene with a boat and several whales, one harpooned, and decorated at the top with a light house and American flags with the name Jireh Perry on a banner between the mast and the flags. The back decorated with numerous American flags and an eagle clutching olive branches and arrows and a banner with "E. Pluribus Unum" at the bottom. Cut and mounted on a mahogany base.
