FIRST EDITION, IN THE ORIGINAL GILT PAPER COVERS, of this agreement between the Russian and British sovereigns. The Fekula copy. After the relief of Malta in 1800, the British had second thoughts about giving the island to Paul as promised. He reacted with a declaration of armed neutrality, but was soon after murdered. With this agreement, Alexander returned to the Allied camp for a time. Fekula 2060 (this copy).
