Printed in blue and black, 9 plates and 10 illustrations etched by Gorvel after Umberto Brunelleschi and coloured by Saudé. Very finely-bound in blue morocco gilt, the covers with triple wide fillet borders and large red morocco panel with a tessellated design incorporating gilt floral motifs, spine gilt with floral motifs repeated in compartments, red morocco lettering-piece, top edges gilt, others uncut (a few small cuff marks to extremities), original printed wrappers bound in, slipcase. ONE OF 524 COPIES, THIS NUMBER 256 OF 450 COPIES "SUR VERGÉ D' ARCHES."
