VLADIMIR ALEXANDROVICH, Grand Duke of Russia -- A printed menu for a meal given by Maria Alexandrovna and Vladimir Alexandrovich in April 1899, signed by the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess and their guests. One leaf 2° (230 x 270mm), allegorical lithographed vignette of Summer printed in blue, mounted (fold-marks, soiling and wear). The guests include 'Nikolai', Lise Paulucci, 'Zagrapho', Ouschakow, B. Hendrikoff,?A. Nikolaieff, Olga ?Tcheretkoff.
NOVAIA LADOGA -- An album of Novaia Ladoga c. July 1896. 10 albumen prints mounted on card with printed captions. Full morocco, silver moiré silk doublures, upper side titled in gilt 'Souvenirs des jour passés a Novaya-Ladoga de 25-26 juillet 1896', brass bosses on lower side (rubbed). Provenance: Count V. (crowned initial on upper side). And 8 others, including: lithographed menus for meals given at the French and other embassies during the period of Nicholas's coronation; the chromolithographed programme for a performance of 'The Pearl' at the Peterhof Palace 18 July 1898; the design, with an original gouache, of the programme for a musical evening on 31 January 1899.
