The cups each with bell shaped bowls and on trumpet shaped bases, the patens each plain circular and on a pedestal foot, each piece marked underneath and further engraved with numbers and individual scratchweights, the cups 'No 22 '18oz. 1dwt' and 'No 23 '18oz. 7dwt'; the patens 'No 22 '10oz 11 dwt' and 'No 23 '10oz 6 dwt', each further engraved with a cumulative scratchweight '28"15'

The inscriptions read 'The Gift of Mrs Eliz Pocok to ye Parish of St Martin Westmr 1746' (4)

A pair of flagons by Hugh le Sage, 1746 with identical inscriptions are now in the Gilbert Collection, shortly to be exhibited at the Victorian and Albert Museum, London.
