    Pierre-Philippe Thomire (1751-1843), maître fondeur-ciseleur in 1772.

    A related pair or Empire ormolu and cut-glass étagères by Thomire, formerly the property of King Umberto II of Italy, were sold, Christie's, London, 9 December 2004, lot 44 (£20,315.
