Sir William Mullens (1909-1975) the renowned collector of English enamels, sold as the property of Lady Mullens, Christies 18th March 1987, lot 465 and part of lot 443. The latter illustrated bt Egan Mew, Battersea Enamels, 1926, Fig. 42.
