The breakfront Carrara marble top above three scrolled acanthus frieze drawers, over a pair of drawers inlaid sans traverses with a central scrolling foliage and a musical trophy, the angles headed with acanthus clasps, the sides decorated with lattice and patera-inlaid panels, on heavy scrolled acanthus feet, the top of the carcass stamped CHLES WINCKELSEN 21. Rue St. Louis (AU MARAIS) 1865, the lockplates stamped SOUCHET A PARIS
