Comprising a pair of dishes carved to the interior with a pair of fish around a central lotus amidst waves, the sides with further fish below a keyfret band and metal-mounted rim, all covered in a light-blue glaze; and a pair of dishes carved with a similar pattern, covered in an off-white crackled glaze

The first pair each with label 'John Sparks 128, Mount Street . W.' attached to the base.
