Arabic manuscript on paper, 410ff. plus eleven fly-leaves, each folio with 13ll. of black naskh within gold and blue rules on gold-speckled paper, gold roundels between verses, gold illuminated outer margins, divisions of text marked in the margin with illuminated medallions, occasional marginal notes in red and black naskh within cloudbands, sura headings in white thuluth on gold panels, opening, middle and final bifolios illuminated in gold and colours, later European green morocco binding, green paper doublures
