An oak press cupboard, Lake District/Yorkshire, early 18th century
with moulded cornice and foliate scrolling frieze centred with initials W.H.A. and supported by turned column uprights, with three panelled doors flanking two upright panels, all carved with whirls and scrolling foliage, with three drawers below and applied lunette carved frieze above a pair of four panel doors flanking two central panels decorated overall with roundels, on later turned feet, repairs and replacements -- 73in. (185cm.) wide, 65½in. (166cm.) high, 22in. (56cm.) deep
