Clairelynn Uy is an exciting painter, whose works strongly evoke of the comic-strip-like representations by Roy Lichtenstein. Uy's bright graphics and witty meta-references reveal an endearing ability to parody humor and whimsy in a striking manner. Bird Crash depicts an explosion of two planes crashing into each other.
