In recent weeks, Atlantic City was among one of the many areas along the east coast that was devastated by Super Storm Sandy, which is why both The National Geographic Society and Christie's have generously agreed to donate a portion of the proceeds from this lot to the Red Cross to benefit the Superstorm Sandy Disaster Relief. This lot is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the National Geographic Society guaranteeing the photograph is unique and numbered '1/1'.
