A gilt bronze figure of Vajradhara
Tibet, circa 16th century
Seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base with his hands crossed in front of his chest, clad in a voluminous dhoti and sash, with lotuses blossoming at the shoulders and supporting a vajra and ghanta, the face with a serene expression flanked by large earrings and surmounted by a foliate tiara, the hair arranged in a tall chignon, the base sealed and incised with a double-vajra
