A silver figure of Vajrasattva
Tibeto-Chinese, circa 1800
Seated in dhyanasana over a gilt bronze double-lotus base with beaded rim and ornate petals, holding a ghanta in his left hand, clad in a billowing sanghati with a sash flowing over the arms and adorned with jewelry inlaid with hardstones, the face with serene expression and raised urna, the hair pulled up into a high chignon and topped with an elaborate knop, the base sealed with a double-vajra
