A collection of ephemera associated with Tony Hancock's private and public life, circa, 1962-1967, majority of material from 1966-1967 including:
- various copies of contracts and correspondence associated with the BBC TV programme Tony Hancock At The Festival Hall, recorded on September 22nd, 1966;
- a small selection of black and white photographs of Hancock and others appearing outside on stage before large crowds, largest -- 8½x6½in. (21.6x16.5cm.);
- three final sequence sections of Hancock scripts [and one duplicate section], each carbon typescript of 2-4pp. from various shows; two typescript letters from 1966, one signed by M.John Carlin, the other by Sam Morris, both enclosing proposed scripts for Hancock, the former 7pp. the latter a 1p. fragment; a 2pp. printed biography of Hancock's career on Freddie Ross & Associates printed stationery;
- two envelopes inscribed in an unknown hand with instructions for Hancock's medication; and a printed Air Corporations...Medical Services Request Form ink-stamped 20 August 1967..BOAC Airways Terminal inscribed by Hancock with his request for a smallpox vaccination and signed A Hancock;
- a quantity of Hancock's club membership cards, 1966-1967;
- various air tickets and itineraries for Hancock and his agent/road manager Glyn Jones for destinations including Paris and Sydney;
- a quantity of receipts, office correspondence and related material (a lot)
