MID-18TH CENTURY, PROBABLY NORTH EUROPEAN
Pale blue-painted overall, surmounted by a cresting of a cornucopia of fruits and flowers, supported by ribbon tied foliage, with cascading festoons of trailing flowers and foliage around the plain moulded frame, with in a putto mask with scrolled acanthus apron below, later plate, formerly gilt
63 in. (160 cm.) high; 38.1.4 in. (97 cm.) wide 4 ⁷/₈ in. (12.5 cm.) deep

The collection of Vivien Leigh, Notley Abbey, Buckinghamshire, probably acquired from Colefax & Fowler, ‘1 antique George II mirror’ for £68, 31 January 1947, (Laurence Olivier Archive, The British Library, London, Add MS 79839), thence by descent until sold,
