The brèche violette marble top of breakfront outline with a moulded edge, above egg-and-dart, with a frieze drawer below decorated with vine-leaf swags, above a fielded panel door, the centre inset with a foliate still life within a rope-twist border, the interior with two adjustable shelves, between canted angles, each headed by an acanthus and floral-cast capital, the inswept sides each with a trellis parquetry panel, on plinth base, the apron with twin cornucopiae centred by a ribbon-tied floral garland, on paw feet headed by acanthus fronds, stamped GROHE A PARIS to the top left of the carcass beneath the marble
