The arched bombé cartonnier surmounted by two putti and a hound, above a clock with white-enamelled dial with Roman and Arabic numerals within a foliate frame, above eight gilt-tooled leather drawers, the sides and back inlaid with bois de bout floral marquetry, the shaped rectangular leather writing surface with moulded edge, above a scroll-form frieze mounted with foliate and rocaille motifs and fitted with two short drawers decorated with bois de bout marquetry and a sham central drawer, opposed by conforming sham drawers, the cabriole legs headed by female busts above foliate-cast chutes and lion's paw sabots
