Following last year's successful showing in Hong Kong, Christie's has once again partnered with artist Michael Lau – dubbed the 'Godfather of Toy Figures' – to present COLLECT THEM ALL! in Shanghai from 31 August - 12 September.

The artist's three-dimensional vinyl characters have garnered global attention and are sought-after by art-world insiders from Japan and Seoul, to New York and Paris.

COLLECT THEM ALL! will mark the first ever presentation by Michael Lau in Shanghai, offering viewers a fresh perspective on works across a dynamic range of media, exploring the concept of 'All Art Are Toys, All Toys Are Art'.

The selling exhibition will feature 50 exceptional paintings and sculptures under five themes, including his newest collection entitled Characters 2019, inspired by the pictographic nature of Chinese characters.
