The Post-War Day Sale is dedicated solely to the foremost masters of the Post-War era ranging from CoBrA to Pop. Among the highlights of the CoBrA movement is an important painting by Karel Appel entitled "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof".
Other features include one of Andy Warhol's ever-popular Flowers paintings from 1964 and, perhaps most importantly, a rare appearance at auction of one of the first of Anthony Caro's revolutionary painted steel sculptures from the 1960s.
