    The Range of Light: Photographs by Ansel Adams, dedicated solely to the work of this preeminent American artist, will open the Spring Photographs season at Christie's.  Featuring 25 lots that will appeal to new and seasoned buyers alike, the sale presents a wide variety of his best known images, including several rare, large-format ‘mural’ prints.  Highlights include a stunning print of Winter Sunrise, Sierra Nevada from Lone Pine, California, 1941, with incredible wall-power, one of very few printed in this large size, and a beautiful, very rare mural print of the artist's most popular image, Clearing Winter Storm, Yosemite Valley, c. 1939.  The sale will be followed directly by Photographs on 3 April.
