The beautifully designed and lavishly produced special tribute catalogue for this royal sale consists of 2 volumes.
Volume I: Jewellery & Fabergé
Volume II: Silver, Furniture and Works of Art
Both volumes are richly illustrated with approximately 150 beautiful photographs of Princess Margaret, including several portraits by the famous society photographer Cecil Beaton.
Volume I contains an introduction by Leslie Field, the author of "The Queen's Jewels, The Personal Collection of Elizabeth II", introducing us to some of the stories behind this highly personal jewellery collection and the breadth of Princess Margaret's taste and interests, her respect for heritage and her enthusiasm for contemporary jewellers.
Volume II contains a foreword by Orlando Rock, painting a picture of The Princess' life at her apartment at Kensington Palace - a place which was at the heart of London society throughout Princess Margaret's life.
