Hermès Kelly Danse

The Hermès Kelly Danse reimagines the iconic Hermès Kelly with a softer, more relaxed silhouette. The bag maintains the signature swivel lock and structured Kelly flap but adds a long, flat leather strap for true versatility — the bag can be worn over the shoulder, cinched round the waist or the strap can be removed entirely, with the Kelly Danse also working as a clutch.

Designed by Jean Paul Gaultier, the Kelly Danse debuted around 2007. The bag was discontinued in 2013 and quickly became a sought-after rarity. In 2019, Hermès reintroduced the bag as the Kelly Danse II. The proportions remain the same (22cm x 17cm x 7cm) but the bag is now made in more durable leathers like Evercolor — prized for holding vibrant hues like Bleu Hydra and Rouge H with exceptional depth.
