Maurice Utrillo prints

Maurice Utrillo’s prints capture the charm and character of Parisian streets, architecture and cityscapes with delicate line and atmospheric tone. Working primarily in lithography, he translated the textured surfaces and subtle colour washes of his paintings into graphic form. His prints highlight architectural detail, perspective and mood, reflecting Utrillo’s fascination with Montmartre and his ability to evoke the spirit of urban life in compact, intimate compositions.
