Hamon [tempering pattern]: suguha of konie, ko-midare, ashi, utsuri, yubashiri, jifu

Boshi [tip]: o-maru, togari

Horimono [carvings]: bohi on both sides

Nakago [tang]: suriage, two holes

Habaki [collar]: double, copper-gilt

In shirasaya [plain wood scabbard]: Takenaka ko [Lord Takenaka], Taisho 7th (1918)

Nagasa [length from tip to beginning of tang]: 69.4cm.

Sori [curvature]: 2cm.

Motohaba [width at start of tempered edge]: 3.2cm.
