The firm was founded in St. Petersburg in 1849, by Yevdokimovich Morozov. As well as selling goods by other makers, he had his own workshop as a master goldsmith. The firm continued in existence until 1917. Master foremen working for the firm were Anders Johann Seppanen, Fredrik Tiander, and a master with the Cyrillic initials I.P. and B.K.
